Job Description
What You Will Do:

61 Assisting in development of fixtures, concepts, and prototypes for research and development and market analysis.
61 Making detailed observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results.
61 Compiling results and preparing technical reports and documentation of outcomes.
61 Assisting in the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.

Level Basic Understanding:
61 Explains the importance of accuracy in own function or unit.

Product Testing: Knowledge of product testing approaches, techniques and tools; ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.
Level Working Knowledge:
61 Documents test process and results; prepares and analyzes defect-tracking reports.
61 Summarizes features of a specific product-testing process and associated procedures.
61 Tests components for compliance with functional requirements and established conventions.
61 Discusses and compares usability, safety and integration testing.
61 Develops product-testing procedures; participates in selecting testing environment and tools.

Troubleshooting Technical Problems: Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment.
Level Basic Understanding:
61 Explains where to locate basic help facilities and troubleshooting guides.
61 Discusses basic concepts behind a systematic approach to solving technical problems.
61 Identifies available resources and support systems for troubleshooting.
61 Describes problem identification, reporting and escalation procedures.

Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Level Basic Understanding:
61 Summarizes the overall process for developing a new product or service for the organization.
61 Identifies the organizational business units that have input into the development process.
61 Collects information on current and prior design and development successes and failures in the organization.
61 Describes the basic tools used for design and development.

Required Qualifications:
1, The successful candidate will have a BSME or equivalent with 5 years of engine testing experience.

Desired Qualifications:
1, Fluent in English
2, Knowledge and experience in engine emissions measurement equipment such as Horiba MEXA and Sierra BG3; operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
